Are you a Safety Champion?

October is National Safe Work Month and this year’s theme is: Be a Safety Champion

This year’s theme demonstrates that anyone, both employers and workers from any occupation or industry can be a champion for work health and safety. Everyone can support a safety culture at their workplace and promote best practice work health and safety initiatives.

With Assetlink’s Safety Vision to have workplaces where all team members, through their behaviours and choices, put the safety of themselves and others first, Assetlink encourage all of our team members to be a part of Safety Month!

To participate Safety Month, Assetlink is running a ‘Are you a Safety Champion?’ draw. Our team members are invited to enter the draw by telling us how they are making their workplace safer. It might be by changing work practices, championing conversations on safety, or proactively raising awareness of hazards in the workplace. Team members can also nominate themselves, their team, a fellow team member or even our client to be our Safety Champion.

Our ‘Safety Champion’ winners will be announce at the end of the Safety Month. Stay tune for more updates.
