Wayne Gobert and the People & Culture team are proud to announce that Assetlink has won the award for Best Learning & Development Program at the prestigious Australian HR Awards.

The Australian HR Awards brings together industry leaders to celebrate excellence in the HR profession, recognising individuals, teams and companies for their outstanding achievements in people management. This year’s awards saw a record number of 750 industry leaders gathered for the event, which was held at The Star Sydney on the 7th of August.

The best Learning and Development program was awarded to Assetlink for the following initiatives:

  • The Assetlink Academy: representing a multi–channel approach to Learning and Development, with opportunities for our Team Members to access both formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • In-house exclusive suite of e-learning programmes covering inductions, WHS, compliance and leadership. This ensures the content is highly relevant and specific, avoiding generic off the shelf courses.
  • Provision of clear universal and leadership pathways, technical training and user-led training set out the formal and informal routes to learning.
  • Learning aligned to core, management and technical competencies leading to nationally recognised qualifications, industry accreditations and targeted professional development.

The high calibre of entries this year resulted in a particularly strong pool of finalists. Assetlink had achieved finalist status in two categories for these Awards, which included the Best Learning & Development Program, as well as the esteemed award for Australian HR Director of the Year to Wayne Gobert, Head of People and Culture. Company leaders: Aurora Fonte, Franco Fonte and Wayne Gobert were in attendance on the night, along with key members of the People and Culture team.
