Assetlink helps raise crucial funds for the John Hunter Children's Hospital

More than 3000 participants pounded the pavement through the heart of Newcastle on Sunday morning, across the 12km course to support the Cotton On Foundation’s Run Newcastle event. Assetlink proudly volunteered time on the day and held a BBQ at the finish line to raise funds to help support this worthy cause.

The Cotton On Foundation facilitated this event where people could run, walk or roll the streets of their town while raising money for a local health-related project. 100% of every registration for Run Newcastle went straight to the redevelopment of the Adolescent Ward at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

At Assetlink, we are continuously looking for ways to support the local communities in which we work, and the Run Newcastle was a perfect opportunity to show how passionate we are to support the Newcastle community.

Nick Moore did an amazing job with organising the fundraiser BBQ, and representing Assetlink alongside Chris Neenan and several members from the NSW Support Office also took the time to travel up the coast to support the cause.

End.
